| APPROACH |
| |
These objectives are being pursued
by a variety of means such as bringing together national and international
expertise, discussions and dialogue with the stakeholders, disseminating
results and getting inputs for policy initiatives, suggesting new
educational programs, and integrating the outcome of studies, reports,
seminars, etc. for coming up with policy recommendations. |
| |
| METHODOLOGY |
| |
Initially a symposium was organized to identify significant
issues and concerns. In parallel, an international conference on Knowledge
Management has been organized. A number of studies have been identified
and some of them have been taken up. The participating institutions
may seek the cooperation and collaboration of institutions, scholars
and experts for the project. While the participating institutions
will carry out the studies utilizing the expertise of their faculty,
but they may, if they so wish, utilize the best available expertise
obtainable from other institutions and experts.
For awareness development and dissemination, workshops, seminars,
etc. are being organized at national, state and local levels. Key
policy issues will be discussed at the second international conference.
Detailed policy recommendations may then be drafted and finalized
at a national workshop. |
